Perfect Banana Bread Loaf Recipe

If you are looking for a perfect delicious banana bread loaf recipe then look no further. This recipe is super simple and guaranteed to be so tasty. Enjoy.


Ingredients

  • 225g Self Raising Flour

  • 170g granulated or Caster Sugar

  • 2 medium eggs

  • 2tbsp whole milk

  • 1tsp Baking powder

  • 2 large very ripe bananas

  • 100g very soft butter



Method


  • Firstly mash both of your bananas together in a bowl until they are all squishy and set aside

  • Weigh out your flour, baking powder and sugar and mix together in a large bowl.

  • Add the eggs, butter and milk and combine

  • Then add in the bananas and with a hand mixer mix it all together until just combined and all the dry ingredients are fully mixed in.

  • Grease and line a loaf tin with parchment paper

  • Spoon the cake mixture into the tin, it should be about 3 quarters full to allow for a nice rise.

  • Cook at 160 degrees celsius for about 50 minutes until a knife or skewer comes out clean.

  • Place on a wire cooling rack in the tin for about 10 minutes

  • Then you can take it out of the tin and either leave it to cool or enjoy a nice warm slice.
