What My Almost Three Year Old Toddler Eats in A Day

Willow is not the fussiest of eaters, she will pretty much eat most of the same things that her dad and I eat. She likes spicy foods more than I do in fact (not hard, I'm a wimp) and likes her food to be full of flavour. If you are interested in the sort of thing I feed her on a day to day basis then read on.

Breakfast: Crunchy nut cornflakes with milk

Willow isn't really a massive breakfast person and never really has been but I usually find that if I give her something a bit sweet in the morning she will eat it. I gave her a choice of cereals this morning and this is the one she picked. She has whole milk with it as that's what her dad prefers and she seems to as well.

Mid morning Snack: A gala apple

Lunch:

For lunch today willow had a half sandwich with sliced turkey in it, she's been obsessed with turkey sandwiches lately. She had a handful of red grapes with it and a fromage frais yogurt with a mini baby bell cheese and a mini peperami.

Afternoon Snack: Cucumber sticks and a packet of mini chocolate fingers

Willow loves cucumber so when I asked what she wanted for her snack she said cucumber and chocolate. So her wish is my command. She also had a packet of skips later on but we all know what they look like.

Dinner: Hidden veg pasta bolognaise and a slice of garlic bread

She managed about half of this portion which is pretty good for her to be honest. She didn't ask for a desert today so she must have been pretty full after this. This is made with 5% fat beef mince and has hidden carrot, celery, tomatoes, leeks, onions and a red bell pepper, I blend the sauce all up before I add the mince so she gets all the flavour and goodness but none of the chunky veg (which she doesn't like in sauces).

Let me know what kind of thing your toddler eats in a typical day as I'm always interested in new ideas. Thank you for reading and as always stay posted for more content coming soon.
