For this weeks baking adventure Willow Picked some chocolate cupcakes from Tesco. I love these cake mixes because they are so easy for Willow to do most of the work herself which she loves.

I didn't realise that this one came with icing so I also picked her up a ready-made Betty Crocker salted caramel icing.

Step one was simply pouring the sponge mix into a bowl.

We then added one egg and 4 tablespoons of water.

Then Willow mixed until it was nice and smooth.

We then spread the mix evenly into the six cupcake cases and popped it into the oven for 15 minutes.

The hardest part is letting them cool before starting on the icing.

The icing is messy but actually pretty decent considering Willow is almost 3. I squeezed the icing bag and Willow guided it where she wanted the icing to be.

She then picked out two toppings which were rainbow sprinkles and chocolate curls and got to work.

I think they turned out pretty well. She kept telling m they were daddy's birthday cakes (even though his birthday is in November).

They were very tasty as well.
