Baking Hey Duggee Chocolate Cupcakes With Willow

This week on our shopping trip Willow saw this cake mix and if you know how much of a huge fan of Hey Duggee she is then you won't be surprised at all to learn that it went straight in the trolley.

She has been so incredibly excited to make this for a few days now so today I was doing a bit of baking anyway so we thought we would crack it out and see how good or bad it was.

As you can see she was pretty excited to get started on baking these cupcakes.

Here is the instructions on the back, I particularly like how it says earn your baking badge, Willow was so happy about that. This is also everything that was inside the box. We just needed to add 1 egg, water, oil and butter. Easy enough.

I let Willow take the lead on this one as it was such an easy bake, there was a little mess but nothing major so it's doable for a 3-year-old. I had to read out the instructions of course though.

Once they came out of the oven and cooled it was decoration time. Willow loves sprinkles so that was definitely a plus (if not for me having to clean them up).

Not too bad for a three-year-old I think.

As for how they tasted I think it's safe to say they were pretty delicious when Willow scoffed them down like this.
